Dr. Guido Gehlen

Dr. Guido Gehlen is the Head of Global Technology Innovation within Vodafone Business Platforms & Solution. He’s heading innovation teams, labs and platform development team across multiple locations in Europe and works in close cooperation with enterprise customers and partners. Before he led the Connected Mobility Technology team and product delivery of Automotive Products and Services. Dr. Gehlen has a 20 years’ experience in the MNO industry, especially the Connected Car domain in various roles, from R&D and product development to strategic positions. He is a recognized expert in car telematics, UBI, Internet in the car, V2X and 5G communication and holds PhD and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from RWTH Aachen University.
